An initial fee of $27.50 is required for each interior transponder and several toll payment options are available. The most popular pre-payment option is to assign a FAST LANE account to a credit card which is then charged $20 to open the account. Tolls are automatically deducted from that $20. When the account falls below a balance of $10, the credit card is automatically charged to bring the account balance back to $20. Another payment option is to have tolls automatically deducted from a checking account which can be done with any bank. "
