Hi, I've missed you. It was warm enough today to turn the heat off and open up the windows. A slight breeze rang in my chimes for the first pleasure of the year. What a thrill. The cat and Pete got to enjoy, but i was off to Hartford to the Wadsworth Atheneum for an afternoon of antique colonial furniture, Caldwell mobiles, Frank Lloyd right office furniture, Mattisse, Picasso, and great dining at the WAMMA cafe.

Real cappachino with a rock candy stirrer, apricot sorbet, chilean sea bass. I ha dmissed the chilean Sea Bass at the Avon Old Fams Hotel last weekend, optiong instead for the salmon and my Omega 3s. The Chilean Sea Bass treated me quite right today, as did a taste of Mom's pan seared tuna, cooked just enough for the anti sushi fans. Poor veggie Peggy had a flash to Fear Factor. But I enjoyed my delicasies. I feel right eating seafood, despite moments of empathy with the little Mermaid's friend Sebastian. It might be all those years of reading about ninja from Japan. who knows?

Cardinals, English Sparrows, Juncos favored today's birdlife. Femal cardinal sat atop the chain link fence near the feeders at dusk. I got the binoculars for a closer look, but she flew off. sometimes, know that it is better to savor a less focused view than lose opportunity aiming for perfection. Well there 's some love life advice for you. What's your priority? I think we'd all do a fair better by aiming a little higher, but think about those 20s Man. All the GREAt folk I left well enough alone and dated those that didnt seem int he way of progress and I wouldnt hurt moving on.Hmm. If the best is there, can you bridge the gap?

Speaking of bridges, what IS the GAP? Is it a distance gap? Or perhaps so close to home, it is a TRUST gap? Trusting yourself? Ready to move beyond the ghosts of your ancestors and play for real? Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their party!

Petey touched my knee! Woo woo!

Yesterday I had a heartfelt " I love you so much!" with a mutual hug. then that night I found myself sleeping on the couch away from the awful kitty spray that is TOXIC and to be used on inanimate objects, not on the living. Slept on the couch, arranging the pillows just so to keep fromdeveloping a stiff neck. The kitty it turns out, WAS begging to go out, but I would have slept right though it if the Petey wasnt on target. SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP my dear, sleep and rest.

Interestingly enough I nearly logged off without even writing about the dear individual who inspired me in the first place. Intruiging and annoying moment. Manipulative in the guise of heartfelt need. Let me weave you a picture!
