wow!! we counted 48 cedar wax wings feeding on holly berries at work today in Bloomfield, CT !

The greenery is popping up, about 2-3 inches through the mulch, tempting me with visions of Spring. It's quite exciting to me - in my Travelling eGarden, the first spring at a new home is ALWAYS an exciting time because there is a mystery to see what former garden mavens have planted and left for my pleasure! enjoy these 50 degree days! --Kate--

Home in Windsor, snow has melted away with these 40 degree days. I have heard the worst has yet to come this winter season, but it doesn't mean I won't enjoy the hints of spring today! One of my bistro chairs has appeared, it's seat showing and fully dry, just tempting me to climb through the snow bank to get to it...to feign summer... But I am patient. "Soon come" as my Jamaican friends used to say..
