Raked, Gravelled, and Rolled

I stopped at home depot last night after work and picked up a rake...and plants!
I raked and prepared the bed the best I could. Could have used a sifter to get out all the grass, but essentially raked all the debris to the edges of the bed.

I laid out my pots on the driveway in the approximate pattern I wanted, then placed them on the dirt at the appropriate spacings. Next dug and watered the holes, and one thing leading to another, I had a midnight planting! (I say midnight, because I mulched by the lights of my car after dark. Great excersize.

I suppose you want to hear about the actual plants! Wait....

Plotting the Garden Mystery

Thanks Bob Mips for tilling the first section of driveway border. I put the bleeding heart into the one shady spot. I trust I gave it enough room to double it size next year. Am thinking about what to put in the rest.
