Im researching desktops to put 3D video cards in..these new games take some heavy duty hardware. Let's try it!

Really enjoyed 4th showing of The Two Towers! I still laughed at the funny parts and still flinched in my seat at the grewsome or scary parts. The War, or the Battle for Helm's Deep was less effective this time, mainly because I knew the general outcome, but I was able to examine battle maneuvers and acting and costumes with more detail. I think only in the 3rd viewing of this movie did I actually catch the short scene at the end of the battle explaining the outcome however. And I have a few questions!

when did the horse master group, that semed to start at about 20 grow large enough to defeat an army of 9,000

enough for now. It's christmas eve. things to do! presents to prepare and wrap!!! *hee hee* You WILL be happy to know that I finally got the acuuming done, cleared the dining table and set it with a fresh wintery table cloth - white with white satin snow flakes - and I put out red towels and rugs in the bathroom. The bathroom is VERY cheery today!! I cleared a bookcase and filing cabinet from the living room and there seems to be enough room for company now. Could consider that tree now. Maybe!
Well 10am is upon me. Have to start prepping dinner around 2:30 or 3, so I best get out and make my last shopping run before noon. I found some wonderful things yesterday for those I love. What else will Santa bring?

Last night, after Tonia, Nick, and I saw LOTR, Pete met us and we drove to Diane's. HEr condo is VERY conveniently located, and nearly walking distance (on a nice day) to Ray's Mother's house! Diane did wonderful things with her place. I enjoyed visiting. She also had "urban christmas lights" decorating the cat kennel in the living room, many wrapped presents everywhere, and a warm fire in the f.p. which tonia and i vied for, feeling the nip of having sat still for Hobbits again.

Diane thanks for getting the beer and pizza that was a nice touch. Too bad Larry and Pete had to work today. But I am glad we got to see them as long as we did!
I think it's photo printing time...

Happy Christmas eve!!
Love,
kate

p.s. Curtis and Mr. White, it was SO NICE to finally meet the lords in person! (in cat? "in person" in cat"?)

Hey, I take my foibles and I make something of it. Guess what! I told my waking partner about he wonderful dream I had, about comfort and security and how wonderful it was to feel that way about someone and that that is what I want from life. (I didnt assume the subject in my dream was necessarily about the person in the dream!) As I was leaving my waking guy's house tonight, I gave hm a kiss and got a quick kiss in return. But then, seeing my own dream, I asked him for a slightly longer one.. Woohoo! *blsh* It was so nice!!

night :-)

Thanks, Diane, for the 'love words from Arwen: "i would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone".. ""My heart -- it is mine to give to whom I will"."'

I got my kiss!

After a 5 year series of dreams, I finally got a kiss! two kisses actually!
It was friendly and accepting though not necessarily passionate. I put my arm around him and he returned his own arm to me giving me a little squeeze.
After accepting that minor reality, I gave him a little kiss, this two returned, so I dared for one more. Nothing xrated here. Nothing even R or PG-13. They say in dreams to assess the feel of the dream. The general message was one of comfort and acceptance. It was a security and beauty that I dare not take for granted!

My next question is, did HE get HIS kiss? *smile*

My waking life partner now reminds me of a chickadee or titmouse. Plenty of passion, but when it comes to quick pecks, it's like a bird getting seed. Hurry in and dart away before harm can come to you! :-(

Uh, this piece of this superhero blog reminds me of us....Angry, Bitter, Unemployed Superhero Seeks Partner in Battling The Forces of Darkness "Brainy, we're giving you a makeover. This costume really isn't working."

Duh. I told them that 7 years ago. But do they listen? Nooooooo. I'm the freakin' smartest and wittiest person on the planet (that's my superpower, if you hadn't guessed), and do they listen to me? What do you think? To them, I'm just a piece of meat."

eDiets NewsThere’s nothing at all wrong with catering to a partner’s whims -- provided the partner caters to your needs and wishes, too. Relationships work only when they are two-way streets.
