JUNE - CAREER & ROMANCE SUMMARY

AstrologyZone: "You can make amazing strides this month on the career front after the new moon June 6, but you'll have to remain alert for opportunities. Chances to get ahead will appear and disappear at the speed of light, so there's a danger you might miss one if you take your eyes off the road. In fact, it appears that you'll be presented with TWO special offers coming nearly at once, thanks to planets in twosome Gemini.

With a positive Neptune, any position or promotion you accept will provide a substantial way you can put your own personal stamp of creativity on things for a change. Best of all, Jupiter will protect your income and see to it that you get a very generous offer. As a Virgo, you're a master communicator and negotiator - now you can prove it.

In love, the tough trials and tribulations that you had to endure have gradually subsided. If you still have a touchy area to talk about with your partner, it would most likely center on money or sex. It is also possible that the time you will need to put in at the office will be a point of contention too, as your partner may start to feel neglected. Keep searching for a balanced compromise.

Even with these differences posing a possible problem this month in your relationship, your chart shows you are already through the hardest days and are making progress. This month, love brings more pleasure than angst. No matter what your marital status, you'll enjoy the time near the full moon, June 22, when a full moon tenderly lights your area of true love."

AstrologyZone

AstrologyZone: "June 11, and from that point on, you should enter a calmer, sweeter period for your relationship. If you do notice that you argue, it will probably be over money, as this month Mars will be pushing expenses upward quite noticeably."

Hmm, out of town commute?? Bristol, Stamford? Wakefield? Japan? Or is it merely the addition of camp expenses?

Retrograde means get it together now... I think I will relax about the stress of the extra CSS class.

AstrologyZone: "you may want to note that Mercury will be retrograde from July 22 to August 15. Use this month for all it is worth while you will find it easy to be productive!"

AstrologyZone

AstrologyZone: "Next month's full moon will strongly highlight those who were born on September 21, plus or minus five days"

AstrologyZone: CAREER - CREATIVE

AstrologyZone: "I should have mentioned that the fifth house governs all creative efforts, and they also dazzle brightly in the third week, too. If you have presented an idea to higher ups earlier in the month, you may hear news near June 22 that the client has given final approval. Off you go!"

AstrologyZone

AstrologyZone: "This should be a wonderful moment of the year for romance. The full moon will bring your feelings to culmination, and suddenly you will know your own heart. You will also have four planets in caring, family, and home-oriented Cancer bouncing up and down in your eleventh house of your deepest desires - they will help you realize one certain wish that is dear to you. That may not be realized until next month or in August, but it must be comforting to know it is on the way."

AstrologyZone

AstrologyZone: "Your personal love life appears to be your main focus at the full moon, June 22, plus or minus four days. June 21 and June 22 are the absolute best nights of the month to enjoy love. This full moon will fall in the fifth house of new romance, so if you have been dating someone but are unsure if you want to continue, you will be ready to make a decision. Or, you may hear the sincere words, 'I love you,' which will change everything and bring the relationship forward."

CLEP: Information Systems and Computer Applications: "Information Systems & Computer Applications
Description of the Examination
The Information Systems and Computer Applications examination covers material that is usually taught in an introductory college-level business course. Questions on the examination are about equally divided between those testing knowledge, terminology, and basic concepts and those asking candidates to apply that knowledge. Although the examination assumes a general familiarity with information systems and computer applications, it does not emphasize the details of hardware design, language-specific programming techniques, or specific application packages. There are occasional references to applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and data management, but questions that involve these applications do not draw heavily on knowledge of a specific product. Rather, the focus is on concepts and techniques applicable to a variety of products and environments.
The examination contains 100 questions to be answered in 90 minutes. Some of these are pretest questions that will not be scored. Any time candidates spend on tutorials and providing personal information is in addition to the actual testing time.
Knowledge and Skills Required
The subject matter of the Information Systems and Computer Applications examination is drawn from the following topics. The percentages next to the main topics indicate the approximate percentages of exam questions on those topics.

My Alty handles great in the snow!

BTW, I am now entering 10th Winter with this car, I use my truck when the snow is not plowed and very deep, but the Alty is still going strong - 112k miles, no problems, no oil burn, the car is as strong as ever :)

Corsica? Give me a break!"

Here's the follow-up pics of the wintertime setup - not nearly so fun to drive as the plus-one setup, but the snow traction of the Kuhmos was "N/A"...

Maybe it is the brake ... go check it

I have 7 winters on my Alty, got a second set of wheels and dedicated snows (Hankook studless currently), the Alty has a lot of torque and hp for a car its size. She may just be finding its easy to spin the tires due to that alone.

I live in NW CT and goe through this ritual every season, off with the summer tires (Kuhmo) and on with the Winter tires. With dedicated snows the car is phenomenal and has taken me through the worst winter garbage. There is no substitute for dedicated snows - but don't go out and buy Blizzaks or some expensive tire, there are tons of good deals to be had on many other brands for less money.

One caution - the body design around the front and rear is prone to damage from ice chunks or other fun hidden snow hazards - a rally car it us not, it is easy to dent or break the front or rear bumper area from underneath if you drive in ruts or run over stuff in deep snow.

Because the torque band for the KA engine is so wide, the good news is that with good tires you can pull very low RPM's and ease your way from a stop, it does great. Tires I've had that did very poorly in the snow on this car include the OEM Dunlop and OEM Goodyears, plus the Continental Conti Contacts - great 3 season tire but don't use it in the snow.

, CTMy father, Lt. Col Robert E. Tracy flew as a WSO in an f101-B with 3 other crews and took top honors at the 1976 Tyndall AFB William Tell competition, with the 142nd FIG of the ORANG.

When they were converted over to the F-4's, it just wasn't the same - they did very well, but I could tell that most of the pilots and WSO's took a lot of pride in the 101.

I will always remember watching two 101's taking off from Portland, OR as a kid, and thinking, 'wow', those are some very amazing aircraft.

Tragically, one of my father's best friends, Jerry Clark, lost his life (could have been 101 or F-4) on takeoff while travelling cross-country from OR to FLA, one of the saddest moments in my life - standing there at his funeral, listening to the rifle salute, reminding me that even the ANG at that time wasn't immune to death and accidents. I don't think the cause was ever determined.

If you want to see the history of a truly amazing unit, visit http://www.orport.ang.af.mil/ - and read about the 142nd.

AstrologyZone: "As you see, with a retrograde Jupiter, so much of the financial bonanza that has been promised to you in 2005 by the universe probably wasn't able to materialize - yet. April may have given you a hint of what is to come, but this month you are due to get more outward, obvious indication of just how much your skills are valued by the marketplace. So if by now, six months into the year, you have started to doubt that you would ever see the money you feel you are due, don't give up! You are SO close to pay dirt! "

AstrologyZone

AstrologyZone: "The communications industry will be one of your best bets - publishing, broadcasting, telecommunications, sales, advertising, and research all shine for you. So do the travel industry and anything having to do with health, including medicine, nursing, nutrition, fitness, or other health-related industries. Add too the computer sciences, high technology, and retailing."

AstrologyZone

AstrologyZone: "Watch that date as well as the days that follow, for you will have two weeks in which to make your mark. Your strongest days will occur in the first week, so you need to be ready to roll. This will be the most important time of 2005 to score a victory, so you will have to be ready to interview for positions that are offered to you now. Even if you had no plans to change jobs, should your phone ring, answer that call! If you are self-employed, you are included in this trend, too - present ideas to clients and gently push for closure."
